17th March 2020

We are excited to be opening the pub on the 4th of July, however as we're sure you are aware that things will be very different.

Initially the pub will be opening on Saturday the 4th from 15:00-21:00 and Sunday the 5th from 12:00-21:00 for drinks in our beer garden. There will be no available indoor seating and we ask our customers to follow the visible guidance which has been installed.

On Monday the 6th and Tuesday the 7th we will be closed, and an update will follow regarding our plans from Wednesday 8th.

Please remember the Government guidelines to stay safe from 4th July.

We will constantly review how we set up and will improve things as we work forward, whilst always ensuring that everything we do, and how we open and welcome you back is undertaken with the focus being on providing a Covid secure environment for both staff and all our customers.

Hygiene & Comfort Measures

  • We will be monitoring and managing capacity and numbers at the First & last Inn, including how we serve you and the use of facilities.

  • Social distancing measures will be in place which may include outside serving, tables and spacing, queue controls and reduced capacity. Additional signage will be in place to assist visitors.

  • We will be encouraging all visitors to use hand wash facilities and comply with government guidelines on personal hygiene.

  • Our staff have and will be been given additional training and all are working with appropriate PPE where required. In addition, we will have extra hygiene cleaning procedures working throughout the day.

  • We will be providing guest information boards helping all our customers with the use of facilities, etc.

  • When you come and visit us, we ask our customers to remember to be kind, courteous and respectful to fellow visitors and staff during your visit.

Please continue to monitor our website and Facebook page, which will both give updates for this summer.

Thank you for your support and we can’t wait to welcome you back from 4th July onwards.
